Join Alasdair and Andrew for a walk round Foulshaw Moss, one of the largest peat bog restoration projects in Britain and home to a wealth of wildlife. As well as the famous Foulshaw Ospreys, we have a good chance of seeing and hearing warblers, Tree Pipit, Tree Sparrow, Lesser Redpoll, Stonechat and a fair chance of passing raptors.
To compliment the birdlife there should be insects aplenty, with rare White-faced Darter and other dragonflies, Green Hairstreak and assorted butterflies, and a selection of reptiles including Adder and Common Lizard. Add to that the panoramic views and you are guaranteed a grand day out.
Please contact Dan with the heading ‘Foulshaw’ via [email protected] if you interested in attending.
