      5 Clouded Yellow butterflies and 5 Yellow Wagtails, with PW + Painted Ladies, Red Admirals and lots of Small Tortoiseshell and countless Common Blue and White’s.

      3 Buzzard, 2 Wheatear, 8 Little Egret, a Mediterranean Gull

        3 Yellow Wagtails this morning.

        2 Male Clouded Yellow butterflies along the path from Bank End CP to Cockerham Sands CP. Along with 73+ Small Tortoiseshell butterflies, a few Paints and Red Admiral, Common Blue, assorted White and Dragonflies

            Just 2 Yellow Wagtail today 1 very yellow and the other quite pale.

            Few Pied Wagtails. Still hundreds of Greylag geese flying in to roost

              5 Yellow Wagtail this morning around 0930, then disappeared for over an hour and a half, then a maximum of 2 seen together but exceedingly flighty.

              5 Raven over SE and calling.

              Several hundreds of Greylag geese coming from inland to roost.

                6 Yellow Wagtail this afternoon, two very yellow female and 4 with less yellow in their plumage.

                17 Pied Wagtails and 30 Linnets and 7 Little Egret.

                Novelty value : 3 Barnacle Geese, assumed Feral.

                  9 Yellow Wagtail seen this morning, a Male and 2 females, 6 juveniles with varying degrees of yellow plumage.

                  44 Pied Wagtails, 40 Linnets and 2 Meadow Pipits, the first of the Autumn here.

                      Follow Hillam Lane Cockerham until you run out of road. You will see the sheepon the Saltmarsh and hopefully some Wagtails.

                            2 Marsh Harrier, they looked identical, fem/juve, and were hunting together.

                              7 Yellow Wagtails this morning, seen in 1 scope sweep, highest total this Autumn, all very yellow and easy to pick out.

                              33 Pied Wagtails and 1 standout White Wagtail, very clean plumage.

                              60 Swallows, lots landing on the Saltmarsh and tide wrack, picking off insects.

                                2 Yellow Wagtail this morning.

                                29 Pied Wagtails and c90 Swallows feeding around the farms.

                                50 Linnets feeding on the Saltmarsh seeds.

                                2 Black headed Gulls, near the sea Bank looked like they had drifted in with tide, no obvious injuries, probably bird flu.

                                          2 juvenile Yellow Wagtail today, at a very pale plumage stage, they look like they have had a boil wash, not seen this stage this year.

                                          29 Pied Wagtails and 20 Linnets, some Males still in FSP.

                                          3 Swift feeding over the Saltmarsh.
                                          Still a massive flock of Starlings.

                                            A female Clouded Yellow butterfly landed on some Fleabane for a minute or so, very nice, then flew off strongly to the north

                                                  Tuesday 26th, 2 Wood Warblers, found by Paul Ellis, and I saw both of them, thanks to Paul.

                                                  The Wood Warbler in Rose Cottage wood was still showing well at 1330, when I left.

                                                  Also 9 Wheatears on Saltmarsh.
