Wyndhammere (SD5985)
211 Lesser Black-backed Gulls roosting but only 11 juvs with them.
Other than that, just 2 Mute Swans.
The Snab (or what’s left of it)
194 Greylags, presumably moulting, on the land adjacent to the now small pool.
26 Lapwing on a newly seeded field.
103 Rooks feeding in a grass field.
1 Little Egret hanging about in a tree by the river.
Scattered about in various fields were various gulls – 10 adult Common Gulls and 26 adult Black-headed Gulls feeding on shredded grubs in a recently harrowed field, 32 adult Lesser Black-backs loafing on a sheep field and one juv LBB more energetically flying about.
