Jackdaw seen nestbuilding Fenham Carr

Aldcliffe Wildfowlers’ Pools & Marsh – 25th March, 5-6:30pm
Just one Redshank on the flooded field at the bottom of Aldcliffe Hall Lane

c1,100 Pink-footed Goose on the Marsh + 1 Barnacle Goose
1 female Goldeneye seen on the Lune over the marsh

4 singing Chiffchaff (+1 calling) in trees around the Wildfowlers’ Pools
2 pairs Shelduck on the pools
c15 Teal and c25 Mallard on the pools
1 Little Grebe
Oystercatcher & Canada Goose pairs looking broody

1 Wheatear in field along Aldcliffe Hall Lane
