A satellite tagged White-tailed Eagle has been present in south Cumbria over the last day or so. It seems to have roosted at Humphrey Head and sometime today headed NE over Kents Bank, Grange-over-Sands and Lindale, with its last recorded position somewhere in the Newton Fell area on the west side of the Winster Valley.

I’m not sure if anyone has actually seen the bird but it would make for quite a sight circling over somewhere like Whitbarrow.

One to keep an eye out for!
