An hour vismigging trying to keep out of the sun yesterday afternoon proved most productive.
Highlight being 2 Yellow Wags just after 14:00 heading S. My first in the valley for 20+ years! Shortly followed by close views of an adult male Peregrine heading N. The supporting cast included Raven, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and 5 species of Finch.
Holly Blues seem to be having an excellent year with 3/4 through the garden daily at the moment. Possibly at the peak of their 6/7 year abundance cycle.
Cheers
Steve
