Pair at Blea Tarn, later flying towards Langthwaite Reservoir.

Lapwing:
At least two pairs Blea Tarn– one pair feeding with three young, another hen seen brooding young nearby. Also three Oystercatchers sitting. Two Great Crested Grebes here also.
Three birds sitting (second or third attempt) in maize fields at Highland Brow, Galgate (GG5).
Chicks heard and adult pair seen in rather nice meadow habitat at SD490550 by Stoney Lane, Ellel.
