3 oystercatchers, 2 adults and a well-grown juvenile, were on the rugby pitch to the east of the Health Innovation building at Lancaster University this evening.
A fledged juvenile kestrel was at the pond near the sports centre this evening. It was begging for food as its parent flew past.
