A Cuckoo and a Spotted Flycatcher seen between Lee and Tarnbrook.
Pair of Oystercatcher in the field above Tarnbrook. Behaviour indicated young present.
Party of 3 Stonechat in the fields above Tarnbrook, plus 4 just below the Tarnsyke Clough luncheon hut – presume both family parties. 2 solitary male Stonechat by the track down to Higher Lee.
No count of numbers for the gull colony – must have been in the low hundreds, those seen were all LBB.
In the fields above Higher Lee, 2 pairs of Lapwing, a pair of Curlew and a pair of Oystercatcher. All behaving as if young present.
Only 4 Skylark heard singing on the whole round, but not ideal conditions today.
