      Approximately 25 Swifts flying over Aldcliffe Marsh between 09.15 and 09.25 this morning – late arrivals? Failed breeders? Local birds?

      Five dead adult BH Gulls visible in the colony on the island at Freeman’s Pool. One of the dead birds appeared to have two live chicks in attendance.
