Curlew with three young approx. a week old on the West Shore marsh opposite Sambos Grave SD 42070 56007.
Tides have been to high during incubation period in the vicinity of sighting and other areas of intertidal marsh, I can only assume that they have found a suitable area of nearby farmland and when fledged taken on to the marsh.
I have never seen any Curlew nesting activity previously at Sunderland Point
