Eric Morecambe Pools (from Crag Road viewpoint) – 1 Great White Egret, 47 Avocet, 1 Greenshank, c.1650 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 female Goosander and 1 male Pintail on salt-marsh pools.

Warton Crag – An excellent morning for butterflies on the south-facing slope east of the quarry: 15+ Pearl-bordered Fritillary (including a mating pair), 9 Dingy Skipper, 6 Green Hairstreak, 1 Small Heath, 2 Speckled Wood, 3 Peacock and 1 male Orange-tip.
