      Heysham North Harbour Wall
      1 2nd CY Shag diving near the yellow buoys
      2 Sandwich Tern
      1 Grey Seal

      Knowlys Road, Heysham
      790 large gulls (mainly 2nd CY Herring Gull) feeding on the mussel beds on the falling tide
      27 Eider

      Eric Morecambe Pools (from Crag Road)
      1 Spotted Redshank – on The Flood
      3 Mediterranean Gull – 2 adults & 1 2nd CY on Allen Pool
      47 Avocet
      111 Black-tailed Godwit
      2 male Pochard – Barrow Scout Fields
      4 Little Grebe – Barrow Scout Fields

        Bits in the earlier stages of the dropping tide including flock of 12 Arctic Tern towering over the harbour heading NE and a dark morph Arctic Skua similarly but high over HeySham Head…..along with two frustratingly distant auks which looked like Puffin but obviously not claiming such. Dead after 0650 as everything had presumably been flushed out of the bay by the dropping tide and nothing obvious inbound
