Pine Lake – 1 Great White Egret flew over heading NE at 8.05 am.
Few diving duck – just 23 Tufted Duck and 4 Pochard

      Clearwater Fishery – 1 female Ring-necked Duck, 86 Tufted Duck, 4 Goldeneye, 1 Goosander
NB. To gain a good view across most of the open water at this site park in the pull-in on the east side of Kellet Lane 150 metres south of the entrance to Clearwater Fishery, then go through the gate onto the bridleway that leads up the slope on the opposite side of the road to the fishery (SD 5224 7221). After a few paces you will have gained sufficient height to see over the hedge that obscures any view of the open water from road level. A ‘scope is essential for viewing from this spot!

Eric Morecambe Pools (from Crag Road) – 2 Great White Egret (both eventually flew off towards Leighton Moss)
26 Avocet (mostly on the Allen Pool)
110 Pink-footed Geese (in fields south of the pools)

Coldwell Parrock – 1 Hawfinch perched at the top of a tree opposite the entrance to Gait Barrows, then flew off north and landed in a yew tree at Coldwell Parrock.

      M6, junction 36 – 1 Small Tortoiseshell flew over the roundabout / A590 junction at 11.30 am.
