Successful year for breeding Shelduck

There were three separate groups of adult and juvenile Shelduck at Halforth this morning with 7, 3 and 2 juveniles respectively. Also a female Goosander with 9 young, 11 Common Teal, 100 Greylag, the usual Whooper Swan, and 12 Tree Sparrow.
In addition a young Oystercatcher was in a group with 3 adults.
