A walk along the Stone Jetty at about midday provided the sighting of two rock pipits and 5 whooper swans. The whoopers flew low over the jetty N to S.

I have always been intrigued by shops that sell military clothing and equipment. I am unsure why this is. Anyway, I took the opportunity to visit the shop on Morecambe prom. I was drawn to a stuffed fox that was on display and noted that it had a corncrake in its mouth. This probably demonstrates how common this bird use to be.
