      Today, weds 22nd March c 4.45pm

      Male shoveler at Freeman’s pond in amongst the many black headed gulls. Saw a little scuffle with the gulls. No sight of a female. Also Grey heron, several m and f Goldeneye, 2 coots, 2 Canada geese, 3 roe? Deer.

      C. 25 wood pigeon feeding together in a field opposite frog pond.

      Earlier,

      Several Possible chiff chaff and warblers in brambles etc along Riverside path between quay and marsh point.

      Several m and f Goldeneye feeding in lune before the tide went down. Also cormorant. With low tide, greater and lesser black backed gulls, redshank, herring gulls, couple of oystercatchers.
