A two bites of the cherry weekend with decent onshore winds and quite honestly weather not really suitable for any other birding. Walney have been setting the consistent standards with some stuff from Rossall and perhaps less relevant from Starr Gate. Coverage at Heysham has latterly been poor and Walney stuff from the last couple of days of birds either flying into or out of the Bay shows some of the stuff being missed albeit not all of it will reach our areas viewing area. This am at Heysham saw a very belated 35 mins which still included a probable Puffin as well as Guillemots, Gannets and Manx Shearwaters
