Hi all, I have been able to get some interest in a potential small plot for growing some seeds (possibly focusing on productive non native black sunflower and also some native seed plants like thistle, teasel and common poppy) for birds at Ryelands Park, potentially a first Bird Seed Farm in Lancaster…? Friends of Ryelands Park and Lancaster Cc open spaces were keen and would love to know more about which birds visit Ryelands Park, including ones needing support.
