Small skein of Pink-footed geese heard over my house in Morecambe at 22.47
Flock of 30 south over the intertidal Heysham c0800 (per Malcolm)
about 80 over the Kent estuary this morning, 14th September, calling away and shuffling between skeins as they fly overhead at perhaps 1000 feet. A later group were heard, but above the cloud base.
597 over Heysham between 09:30 – 13:15.
Flock over Silverdale Moss at 10.15 on 14th. No count as was in woodlabd John Wilson
966 plus two skeins heard only over Midd NR 0645-1100. Probably some missed as very high in following wind
Add another 205 to above total over Midd NR whilst packing up 1100-1130
Skein of 42 high SSW over West Lancaster 1151
Osprey S over Lancaster Castle and beyond 1156
Meadow Pipits heard moving over the town centre also
3 large skeins over Lancaster 7.20am too high to count accurately for me but several hundred in total…
