2 ospreys were seen together from Silverdale Shore over the Kent channel this afternoon. They separated and one bird flew towards Arnside whilst the other followed the route of the channel in the other direction.
Earlier in the day, a large raptor powered north following the A6 in Scotforth. I only caught a view from behind. It was probably a buzzard.
