Osprey, Peregrine and passing Common Sandpiper

Halforth: An Osprey was perched on a dead tree on the sands. Nearby, there was an adult with a juvenile Peregrine. Also 5 Common Sandpiper, an adult Shelduck with 2 very small chicks, 42 Mallard, 1 Raven and 1 Little Egret.

Sampool: 4 Common Sandpiper, 15 Goosander, 35 Greylag, and the resident Whooper Swan

Marsh Side Farm flood. The over- staying Whooper Swan and 26 Greylag. A Grey Hereon and 62 Mallard.
