Visited three of my nest box schemes in the Arnside/Silverdale AONB. Found 7 occupied Nuthatch nests compared with only 3 last year.When I started birding you had to go to Cheshire to see Nuthatch.Has I write there are 4 Goldfinch in our garden when I started birding it was an event to see any! Not all doom and gloom.
