      Pink Lake
      Juvenile Great Northern Diver – still at north end of lake.
      Adult Whooper Swan – still with 12 Mute Swan at south end of lake.
      Also: 38 Tufted Duck and 10 Goldeneye (7 females, 3 males), 1 Great Crested Grebe.

      Lilian’s Hide, Leighton Moss
      8 Marsh Harrier (6 females, 2 males) in view at same time
      1 Great White Egret – in flight over reedbed beyond pool
      Plenty of dabbling duck, but no sign of the recent female Ring-necked Duck or Garganey.

      Causeway Hide, Leighton Moss
      1 Otter swam close past the hide
      23 Tufted Duck, bu again no Ring-necked Duck
      24 Mute Swan
      Large numbers of Gadwall and Coot

      Causeway, Leighton Moss – 13 Fieldfare flew over heading west – seem to be scarce this winter.

        No sight of Scaup off Morecambe Prom today.
        Bar-tailed Godwits at Teal bay.
        Kittiwake Heysham Outfalls
        Rock Pipits and Jack Snipe at Ocean Edge
        Spotted Redshank on Allen Pool.
