Roost count for the BTO survey on 27th, last week’s weather was too bad to count accurately.

Jackdaw 780 pre roost at Teal Bay
At the same time another 430 Common gull and 1440 Black-headed gull roosted off the slag tips, and at Silverdale another 4108 Black-headed gull roosted. So a total of c.10,680 black-headed gull roosting between Morecambe and Arnside
