      Vinehouse Farm marketing says red millet attracts Tree Sparrows so I bought a bag and it worked! 2 Tree Sparrows today heading for the feeders in my garden at Claughton but were intercepted by the mist net so they’ve now got rings on.

      Also this afternoon:
      1 Brambling (young male)
      100 Fieldfare north
      250 Starling west
      30 Redwing north
