7 Mediterranean Gull – 1 adult (white darvic ring left leg – distant), 1 2nd summer, 4 1st summer and 1 juvenile
2nd summer Herring x Lesser Black-backed Gull – superficially like a Yellow-legged Gull, but not ticking all the boxes (e.g. leg colour, mantle shade, head and bill shape)
2 colour-ringed gulls – 1st summer Herring Gull (from NW England) and adult Lesser Black-backed Gull (possibly ringed on Channel Islands, but to be confirmed)
Also: 1 adult Whooper Swan and 195 Greylag Geese

Butterflies: 2 Red Admiral, 1 Comma, 4 Gatekeeper, 7 Meadow Brown and 2 Speckled Wood
Red Nab – Heysham Stage One outfall (10.45 – 12.40 pm)
43 Mediterranean Gull – between Red Nab and the wooden pier – 33 adults (including 1 with white darvic ring right leg, 2 with green darvic ring left leg – all distant), 2 2nd summer, 6 1st summer and 2 juveniles.
1 1st summer Little Gull – Heysham Stage Two outfall
1 Whimbrel – Heysham Stage One outfall.
