First heard in the spring of 2020 at Cockersand Drive, the mallard quacking starling is once again including mallard quacks in its repertoire of calls. I spent a few minutes sat quietly listening to it and also heard lapwing, curlew and oystercatcher. It might also be including swallow chattering and I even thought I heard a swift scream at one stage.
