A 1st w Little Gull with a few vestiges of juvenile plumage on Heysham 2 outfall from about 10am yesterday and present today. The phalarope situation is uncertain. Not seen today but the water is much rougher around yesterdays feeding area and the mouth of the harbour and, although they are used to this, it may have gone into more sheltered inner harbour waters which can’t be seen from ‘public’vantage points…………..or of course it may have moved on
