      I visit other bird blogs and have found this on the Alderney Observatory blog. It tracks the sightings of a coloured ringed Med Gull. It looks like it might have been recorded in our area, before heading south to Alderney.

        Date first ringed: 18/6/22
        Location: Leibnitz gravel Pit< Leipzig, Sachsen, Germany

        Next sighting: 12/11/22 at Nevern Est, Newport, Pembrokeshire

        Next sighting: 22/7/23 at Dawlish Warren NNR, Devon

        Next sighting: 31/8/23 at Heysham, Lancs

        Next sighting: 7/11/23 at Braye Beach, Alderney
