Water levels very low. Allen Pool nearly empty. Strong breeze.
c55 avocet including ~10 chicks
Just 6 black- tailed godwit
3 lapwing
c10 oystercatcher
c15 redshank
1 ringed plover
No knot today
c80 teal
1 mallard
8 shelduck including at least 1 juvenile
5 mute swans
7 little egret
1 spoonbill not visible while I was there but I don’t think it had flown off
c1300 black headed gulls
1 black backed gull (probably GB?) on nest
No little gull while I was there despite being seen earlier in the day
Swifts and sand martins over EM Pool
At least 3 sedge warblers along path
