Roost apparently disturbed at 6.48 this morning, presumed over-flight by marsh harrier, which was seen nearby. 37 little egrets left roost (no great whites seen). In Causeway Hide 6.15 – 7.35, sunrise 7.15.
Also starlings out to NE, a few hundred at 6.57, an estimated 12,000 at 7.11. Yesterday morning 10,000+ were streaming out NW over Silverdale village.
Flock of 50+ greenfinches around Jack Scout/JBP quarry on 2nd November.
