      Coot count specially for John – 240 on Lillian’s pool crammed into one corner.
      Great White Egret – 1 seen from Causeway hide at 11am. It or another seen on Lillian’s Pool at 1500hrs trying to feed but ice got in the way of its beak!
      Yellow-browed Warbler – seen from 1st bench on path to Lower Hide
      Bearded Tit – a Male on the grit tray at c1030
      Reed Bunting – Male and female near grit tray area
      Water Rail – one seen running into reeds near grit tray, at least 4 others heard
      At least 12 tame Robins jumping out for food along the causeway and path to the Lower Hide.
      Snipe – only one seen from Lower Hide
      Pintail, Shoveler, Teal, Mallard, Mute Swan multiples from Lower Hide. An otter seen running across the ice.
      Marsh Harrier – Male and fem/imm hunting over the marsh.
