Excellent views (lucky while passing through) for 5 minutes around 1pm of marsh harrier quartering the the fields to the west and the reeds to the east of Storr’s Lane. The little lay-by to the rhs came in handy. Classic flight pattern with big V wings rising up then holding and dropping down again. If you ever wanted to describe an encounter like this it would be a bird like a buzzard that flies with the skill of a kite.
