Went today specifically to see the avocets but found track in closed so moved to the main area.

Good day for noises – bittern booming, Cetti’s warbler shouting, water rail squealing, blackcap and chiffchaff singing.

Two marsh tits on the boardwalk were very confiding.

Got back to Bare in time to see a buzzard flying over being mobbed by large gulls.

Two marsh tits, one ringed one not, ring appears to have 7386 as end of number.
