      Daily walk.
2 goldeneye and 4 dabchick visiible on Lilians from Storrs Lane.
Causeway just about passable without wellies. Bearded tits active beside causeway.
      Another goldeneye from causeway screen.
When I got to screen a juvenile marsh harrier was sitting on the water with 2 coot legs waving around beside it. After a short time the harrier took off, but continued to harry the coot, which seemed to go towards a cormorant which was diving nearby (normally coot distance themselves from diving cormorants). The harrier seemed reluctant to go in near the cormorant, but took the opportunity to grab the coot again, when it was away from the cormorant. The coot was totally covered from view, but again the harrier failed to lift it, and eventually gave up, leaving the coot to rejoin the main flock across the pool.
