Silverdale Moss (from Silverdale Road, below Arnside Knott) – 8 Great White Egret on pool at southern (ie. Lancashire) end of the reedbed

Island Mere, Leighton Moss – 1 adult Hobby circling over the pool and dead trees from Storrs Lane layby at 11.40 am

Bank End Farm – 5 Clouded Yellow along tideline by seawall during late afternoon.
18 Mediterranean Gull (15 adults, 1 2nd summer, 2 juveniles) in Cocker Channel on early falling tide
