A late afternoon visit produced:
3 adult Bewick’s Swan still with the group of Whooper Swan east of the north end of Jeremy Lane, Thurnham
407 Whooper Swan in four separate groups – 178 east of Jeremy Lane, 94 behind White Cottage, north of Moss Lane, 41 south of Moss Land and 94 (including Yellow TSH) just north of Crook Cottage
8 Barnacle Geese with large flock of Pink-footed Geese on drumlin south of Moss Lane / just north of Norbreck Farm, but viewing difficult in harsh afternoon light.
1 female Stonechat in roadside hedge opposite entrance to Clarkson’s Farm, Moss Lane
