A male Marsh Harrier was quartering over the boggy and scrubby area south west of the pedestrian crossing over the railway, north of Holme. Always worth checking this area; they’ve been spotted here before.
Road bridge railway crossing floods: 1 Green Sandpiper, 100 Teal,8 Gadwall, 1 male Shoveller, 20 Mallard, 13 Common Snipe, 30 Lapwing, 8 Tree Sparrow.
