      Heversham Moss:
      Stonechat fem and 5m Reed Buntings near Marsh Farm
      14 Whoopers west of College Green Farm incl. single juv almost moulted into full adult plummage. Previously 16 with 2 juvs
      2 Stock Doves and Kestrel, flooded field opposite, plus two lively hares (3 Stock Doves Dallam Tower deer park)
      Haverbrack:
      Siskin numbers up to 5 on feeders, Goldfinch approaching double figs
      Holme:
      15+ Snipe in marshy field at Pye’s Bridge Lane/B6384 junction
      28 Teal, 5 Gadwall
      Tuesday:
      Small Tortoiseshell butterfly nr Hagg Wood, Silverdale
      4 Greenfinch around the village

        Hi Chris,

        Good records!

        The club is doing some work on land we deem ‘functionally linked’ to Morecambe Bay SPA– and for records for key species (most waders and wildfowl) we’re trying to map the usage to field level if possible.

        Are you able to pinpoint the sites you mention for Whooper Swans and Snipe respectively?
