I have been visiting the area in Hala where the firecrest was seen over two weeks ago now. This is the scrub north of Gressingham Drive. It can be accessed via Bishopsgate or by walking through Burrow Beck on the Barton Rd. field.

I have to say, that despite living in Hala for some time, I have neglected this area until now, favouring the scrub behind Collingham Park.

There are a few goldcrests in the area, so I have been trying to find these in hope that the firecrest is with them. I have also seen bullfinch and GSW. 2 lesser redpolls were also seen today.
