      Gait Barrows this morning
      7 Hawfinches, 2 flew over near Yealand Hall Allotment, then nice views of 5 near Coldwell Farm.

      Also 8 Bullfinches
      32 Redwing
      35 Fieldfare
      8 Long-tailed Tit
      2 Nuthatch
      2 Goldcrest
      Marsh Tit
      Marsh Harrier
      Great spotted Woodpecker
      Singles of GW and L Egret on Hawes Water

        Quick trip to Gait Barrows again this morning yielded 5 Hawfinches, 2 just S of Hawes Water and 3 near Coldwell Farm. It’s really nice to be able to see them without much trouble.
