Around 10ish we mad a brief visit to Freeman’s Pool and Frog Pond. The Pool had three Goldeneye (2m, 1f), Frog Pond had 50ish Widgeon, 25 Canada Geese, 10 Greylag (almost hidden in the grass) and Mute Swans. The 3rd field south from the Pools had 18 Curlew and about 40 of what seemed to be Grey Plover, presumably displaced by the high tide. Oystercatchers were sprinkled around, and the Pool’s island occupied by Black-headed Gulls.
