      Today, Monday 17th April, 1.30-2.30pm

      Freeman’s pond:
      Several longhorn cattle being delivered for grazing.
      1m Blackcap (near gate, despite disturbance)
      2 little grebe
      2 pairs tufted duck
      100+blackheads gulls
      Nearby: 1 wren, 1 chiffchaff, 1m pheasant, 3 goldfinch (the musketeers), 2 wood pigeon, 1 M blackbird.

      Frog pond:
      18 mute swans (2 of which juvenile)
      18 Canada geese (to match)
      4 greylag geese
      2 oystercatchers (back!)
      Pair wigeon
      Pair gadwall
      Pair lesser black backed gulls
      1 shellduck
      1 M pheasant
      2 wood pigeons
      2 small unIDable pale birds lying in grass
      Nearby in area: 2m 1f mallard, 1 lapwing (same spot, puddle in stubble), 4 woodpigeon, 1m 1f blackbird

      Freeman’s wood on way home along path:
      1 mistle thrush
      1 coal tit
      2 blue tits
      2 great tits
