      Today, Thursday 27th April, 9-10am
      (And notes on yesterday)

      1 swallow flying over field behind frog pond, towards Freeman’s pond. I have seen 4+ swallows flying over Fairfield allotments towards town this week and several flying over bottom of Westbourne rd.

      Freeman’s pond:
      100+ black headed gulls
      1 Canada goose (pair seen yesterday)
      2 oystercatchers
      1 swan (pair seen yesterday)
      1 coot
      1 moorhen
      1 little grebe
      2m gadwall
      4m 2f tufted duck
      1m mallard
      (Also seen yesterday: 1m Blackcap; 1m Shelduck, 1 grey heron)

      Frog pond:
      18 mute swans
      Similar no. Canada geese
      6 greylag geese
      2m gadwall
      1 wigeon
      1m mallard
      5 wood pigeons
      Fairly quiet in surrounding area.
      (Also seen at frog pond yesterday: 1 oystercatcher; 2 black headed gulls)

      Not seen the lapwing in the stubble lately. Also not seen family of moorhens in the field opposite frog pond lately.
