Mediterranean Gull – 1 adult regurgitating food for a three-quarters grown chick on the Allen Pool, but no sign of any of the recent 1st or 2nd summer birds.
Black-headed Gull – Blue 2T75 on Allen Pool. Ringed at Killington Reservoir on 14/6/13.
Avocet – 41 adults, including 11 incubating on the Allen Pool, but no chicks. The colour-ringed birds ‘Yellow flag 73’ from the Solway and ‘Red/Yellow O – Red/Lime green’ from France both still present.

7 Pochard – 6 (3 male, 3 female) on Barrow Scout Fields; 1 female on Eric Morecambe Pool.
