      Just a few notable records.

      EM Complex:

      Pair of Garganey asleep on an island in front of Allen Hide. First seen yesterday and present today until about 5pm then flew off.
      c400 Pink-footed Goose on the marsh
      Two Wheatear in field seen from the bridge just before you reach the car park.
      Also a handful of Pied Wags and good numbers of Meadow Pipit in these fields.

      Carnforth Slag Tips 2-3pm:

      Steady trickle of Meadow Pipits overhead (c20 birds in an hour), and lots on the marsh/fields around here too
      Pair of Goosander on the Keer estuary
      Pair of Great Black-backed Gull on the sea

        Also a single barnacle and a single whitefront way out amongst the pinkfeet this morning.
