A male Common Scoter was showing well off the Morecambe Stone Jetty this morning. At 09.40 it was approximately 60 metres off the end of the jetty and was the closest bird on the sea.
At least two Red-breasted Mergansers plus Eider around as well.

Male Common Scoter again off the Stone Jetty this morning.
Two parties of Common Scoter migrating E over Cavendish Street Lancaster this evening: first at 2215, second at 2228.
Also Golden Plover, Oystercatcher and Redshank heard on the move.
