      Among the mixed flock grazing on the marsh opposite Snatchem’s early yesterday evening One greylag appeared to have a bright orange or scarlet mark or tag low down on its neck. Can anyone enlighten me, or do I need new binoculars for Christmas? Thanks.

        Think its a goose being monitored from Windermere. There’s a few of them about.
