Sorry if this duplicates what others have written but every time I click on someone else’s entry below I get 404 Error message.
Cockersands this morning. Strong wind and dog walkers along the actual shore line meant almost everything was flying off the shore well before high tide (11.03). We walked up to Plover Scar where there was one grey plover with a mixture of other waders.
Back at Bank Houses there were huge numbers of starlings in the trees and flying around. As we drove away, behind the roofless barn there was a barn owl hunting (11.35)
Off to Knott End where we saw just 4 twite on the rubbish (a lot of plastic) by the corner of the ferry slipway. (Sadly the cafe is closed due to Covid until 27 November)
